Bonus Episode 3: Murder for Hire - Aaron Goodwin

Hello everyone and welcome to our third bonus episode. This episode we discuss the murder for hire plot against Ghost Adventures star, Aaron Goodwin. To everyone that knew them it seemed like Aaron and his wife Victoria had a happy and loving marriage. But we all know that appearances can be deceiving. While filming for the new season of Ghost Adventures, Aaron was blissfully unaware of the evil plan that his wife, Victoria had for him. After building a pen pal relationship with a man currently incarcerated in Florida for murder, Victoria decided that she wasn’t going to divorce Aaron, she was going to make sure that he no longer existed. Episode 62: The Murder of Margaret Craig

From the moment a child is born, a mother’s life changes forever. She gives her love freely, her time unconditionally, and her wisdom piece by piece, hoping to raise a kind soul. She teaches right from wrong, instills values, and dreams of the day her child will walk confidently into the world — carrying a bit of her heart with them. And when they finally leave the nest, every mother hopes she’s done enough. That her child will thrive, find happiness, and maybe one day return — not in need, but in love. To visit. To care. To give back. Margaret Craig believed in that dream. At 71, she had spent a lifetime working hard, raising her family, giving all she had. She looked forward to quiet days, warm memories, and the comfort of being surrounded by those she loved. What she never imagined… was that one of them would turn on her. Episode 61: The Legend of the Jersey Devil

Stretching across 22% of the state of New Jersey, the Pine Barrens is a vast reserve of wilderness. If you’re from New Jersey, you’ve likely heard the stories this Jersey Devil, said to stalk the Pine Barrens for nearly three centuries. Part bat, part beast, and all terror, it’s a tale that begins as early as 1735. The legend tells of a woman, giving birth to a child which then turned into a grotesque monster, with features such as bat like wings, claws for hands and deer-like antlers. Throughout the 1800s, sightings trickled in — farmers finding mutilated livestock, travelers glimpsing a flying creature, hunters hearing unidentifiable screeches through the trees. But it was January of 1909 that shook the region. For six straight days, panic gripped New Jersey as thousands reported encounters with this beastly creature, including Police officers. Even now, the legend is alive with people still reporting sightings of the Jersey Devil.
So, is the Jersey Devil real? Or is it just a tale twisted through generations — folklore born of fear and kept alive by the darkness in the trees?

Episode 60: Missing - Lars Mittank

It was supposed to be the trip of a lifetime. In the summer of 2014, 28-year-old Lars Mittank left Germany for the very first time. He and five of his closest friends were headed to the sun-soaked beaches of Varna, Bulgaria — to the stunning Golden Sands Resort. Days were spent lounging by the Black Sea. Nights turned electric with music, drinks, and stories. But one night, everything changed. Lars got into a heated argument with a group of men at a bar. Nothing physical — just words. But later that same night, he was attacked. No one knows for sure if it was the same men, but Lars walked away with a ruptured eardrum. He was supposed to fly home the next morning but doctors at a local clinic advised him not to board the plane. Flying could make the injury worse. So Lars made a decision: he’d stay behind alone for a few more days while he healed. That’s when things took a darker turn. Just hours after his friends flew back to Germany, Lars called his mother. His voice trembled. He said people were after him — that he was being followed, and they were getting closer. Paranoia seemed to grip him out of nowhere. And then… he vanished. Lars Mittank was last seen on CCTV, sprinting out of Varna Airport. He ran out of frame — and out of the lives of everyone who knew him. He has never been seen since. Episode 59: The Atrocities of Danny LaPlante

Pepperell, Massachusetts is a small, suburban town located in Middlesex County, known for its picturesque New England charm. Frank Bowen and his daughters Tina and Karen made their home in Pepperell. Just one year prior, they'd lost their wife and mother to a cruel and lingering battle with cancer. Frank, now a single father, was struggling—working long hours to keep a roof over their heads, often leaving the girls alone in the house. The girls, in their grief, tried reaching out to their mother—pleading for a sign. What they got... was something else entirely. At first, Frank dismissed their stories of these random noises and odd occurrences. Grief does strange things to the mind. But then came that night—December, 1986—when everything changed. After being tormented by these strange occurrences for months, the Bowens came face to face with what was causing the nightmare, but it was nothing like they expected. The Bowens were the victims of a sick mind. This sick mind would also go on to ruin the Gustafson family in the most horrific way imaginable.

Episode 58: The Island of the Dolls

Deep in the ancient waterways of Xochimilco, lies a place that most people would never dare to tread.  This is the infamous Isla de las Muñecas, the Island of the Dolls. It all began in the mid-20th century when a man named Don Julian Santana Barrera, sought refuge on this island. But what he didn’t know is that the island that seemed like the perfect escape had long been home to something far darker. One day shortly after his arrival, Don stumbled upon a horrifying sight—a lifeless young girl, the cause of death a tragic drowning. As if answering a twisted call, a child’s doll appeared on the water’s surface, drifting aimlessly toward Don. He assumed it must have been the drowned girls, and so he hung the doll from a tree, thinking it would honor her memory. That night and every night after that, the spirit of the little girl began to visit him.  Desperate to appease her restless soul, Don began collecting more dolls. But these dolls did not bring peace. Instead, they seemed to attract more... unwanted visitors. Don would often speak of shadowy figures, disembodied voices and unexplainable noises. Episode 57: The Survival of Lois Pearson

A woman’s resilience is a powerful testament to the strength of the human spirit, especially when dealing with pure evil. Lois Pearson, a 62-year-old woman, had always found peace in her solitary life in the charming town of Weatherford, Texas. Nestled on her quiet property, she embraced a life of simplicity and devotion, her faith guiding her every step. Bonus Episode: Emily Pike

Hello everyone welcome to our second bonus episode. This episode Kayla and I will be discussing the heartbreaking case of Emily Pike. Emily Pike was a 14 year old beautiful soul and a member of the San Carlos Apache Native American tribe in Arizona. Towards the end of January of this year 2025, Emily went missing from the group home she was currently residing in near Phoenix, AZ. After weeks of no contact with anyone, the Bureau of Indian Affairs recovered her remains on February 14, 2025 on the side of a highway in Gila County. Very little is known at this time regarding how she came to meet her untimely fate. People around the country are heartbroken and outraged, alongside Emily’s family. Vigils have been held in Arizona, Wisconsin and Colorado, just to name a few, in Emily’s memory. These are all attempts to bring awareness not only to Emily Pike and to bring her justice but to bring awareness to the crisis surrounding the disappearance and murder of Native American women around the country.

Episode 55: Bobby Mackey's Music World

When you hear “most haunted nightclub in America”, many will instantly think of Bobby Mackey’s Music World. The original location in Wilder, Kentucky, has long been clouded in darkness. It began as a distillery and makeshift slaughterhouse, where countless cattle met their tragic end. But the horrors didn’t stop there. After the distillery closed, rumors came about that the land became a site for satanic rituals—some which included gruesome animal and even human sacrifices. Over the years, the area was marked by violent and horrific events—none more chilling than the beheading of a pregnant woman and the suicide of a dancer. In 1978, Bobby Mackey, a country music singer with dreams of owning a bar, purchased the building. Soon after the bar’s opening, Bobby’s wife Janet, the staff, and patrons began to experience unexplainable and sometimes violent occurrences.
